I did an exhaustive search on cashmere because not all cashmere is created the same. I found that one pair of "cashmere" gloves on some websites was as low as $29. There is your first red flag. Some websites do NOT detail if it is single ply or 2 ply. This is a critical factor to know for warmth. They spend an enormous time in words telling you how absolutely lovely the cashmere is and you won't be disappointed. Enough said about other websites: I found Cornelia James website and found 100% cashmere gloves. It did not state if 1 ply or 2 ply. I contacted the company and heard back within minutes that gloves are 2 ply and 100% cashmere. I had other questions, considering this big investment. They responded immediately and answered alll questions in great detail. I can't say enough great things about the Cornelia James team. They are extraordinary. Shipping was prompt My gloves arrived and they are beautiful. It's not enough to know that fact. You want to know about warmth. I tested them out - it's cold here in our city...It's December. The gloves proved to be not only warm, but my hands remained warm. The gloves are very very tightly woven and designed to keep your fingers warm
