スエードは目立つために輝く必要はありません。柔らかく、マットで、静かな自信に満ちています。しかし、その柔らかさは、傷や湿気にさらされやすいことを意味します。世の中に抵抗するのではなく、吸収するのです。しかし、落ち着いて一貫したお手入れをすることで、スエードは何年もその風合いと魅力を保ちます。大切なのは、生き物のように扱うこと。決して急がず、こすらず、なだめすかして形を整えることです。
スエードの特徴的な感触は起毛にあります。可能な限り湿気を避けてください。表面に傷がついたら、スエードブラシで優しく繊維を持ち上げ、風合いを均一にします。こすったり、こすったりしないでください。グローブが湿ってしまった場合は、優しく形を整え、室温で乾燥させてください。
スエードブラシで軽くブラッシングし、傷跡を浮き上がらせ、風合いを回復させます。濡れた場合は、清潔な布で軽く拭き取り、形を整え、風通しの良い日陰で自然乾燥させてください。直射日光に当てたり、圧縮して保管しないでください。
起毛が平らになったり、シミができたり、グローブの構造が崩れたりした場合、プロのスエード専門家が仕上げを傷めることなく、安全に表面を蘇らせることができます。
