Thank you for purchasing a beautiful pair of handmade leather gloves. We’d like to provide a few recommendations on keeping your leather in tip-top condition to ensure your gloves last a lifetime.
We use a durable yet supple Ethiopian lambskin leather which can, indeed, withstand the elements. However, we do recommend keeping it out of rain and sun for extended periods of time so that your leather maintains its elegant sheen.
Leather upholds its structure whilst developing a patina to the hand. This special connection between hand and glove allows the glove to fit specifically to you whilst maintaining its structure. In order for this to remain so, we suggest keeping your leather gloves stored in a place that is safe and dry when they are not in use.
Finally, we suggest keeping your gloves away from perfumes, makeup and any other substances which may leave a lasting mark on the leather. If they do come in harm’s way, simply wipe them off with a soft bristle brush or slightly damp towel and leave them to air dry. Keep them away from artificial sources of heat, as well as air conditioning.
