Theodora is an evening glove in pure silk. This glove is cut slightly shorter than the classic 'opera' length in order to finish just above the elbow. It is a length which is designed to flatter the upper arm. It can also be worn ruched down for a less formal look. Smart, dressy and very versatile.
Elbow Length. This is a 12 inch glove. This is measured from where the thumb seam meets the wrist, to the opening of the glove.
For centuries, silk has remained an important material for glovemaking. It’s beautiful feel and appearance has afforded it a high reputation since the days of kings and queens. Our soft, pure silk jersey knit carries on the tradition and continues to be worn by royalty today.

Care Method
Turn gloves inside out and wash in a mesh bag on a cold, delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry. Avoid wringing or ironing directly. Never tumble dry.
If Softness or Sheen Is Lost
For creased, dulled or faded silk, we recommend a textile professional experienced in delicate natural fibres. They’ll restore the glove’s finish without weakening its weave.

Outstanding customer service and beautiful gloves!
I purchased these for my wedding day and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful they were. The quality of the fabric, design, and how they were sown is fantastic. They were rather large for me at first, and I required two different repair fittings for the thumbs and upper arm, however, the team at Cornelia James, and Andrew specifically, couldn't have done more! Their generosity in accepting the gloves back twice and re-sizing them was very kind and nothing was too much trouble for them. Just like the other review, I have never had such outstanding customer service, and I am really overjoyed! I've definitely become a loyal customer of Cornelia James! Thank you!
