Pittards WR100X Performance Leather

Pittards have been tanning leather in Yeovil, England, since 1826, leading in tanning innovation ever since. So, when we sought leather for our ski mittens, it was an easy choice. Their WR100X Performance Leather, crafted from top-grade Ethiopian hairsheep (known as "Cabretta"), undergoes deep treatment during tanning. This process creates leather that’s durable, water-resistant, highly breathable, quick-drying, and supple.

About Possum Fur

Our mittens are lined with 100% pure New Zealand possum fur. Why possum? In New Zealand, possums are considered pests, with no natural predators and a growing population impacting native flora and fauna. Possum fur is made up of fine, soft, hollow hairs that trap air, offering outstanding insulation—just like polar bear fur. With our possum-lined mittens, you won’t feel the cold, either.
