Our lace is sourced from specialist houses in France and Austria — craftspeople who, like us, still work on nineteenth-century looms to achieve a level of detail that modern machinery simply cannot replicate. Machine washing is possible, but only on the gentlest cycle and always within a delicates bag. Give lace the space it needs. Don’t crowd the drum, and don’t rush the drying. Once clean, lay the gloves flat and let them breathe. Trims and bows may need a moment of reshaping by hand — nothing more.

Wash cold on a delicate cycle inside a mesh bag. Dry flat. Reshape by hand. Avoid friction, heat, or spin cycles that may damage trims.
